Let them eat ate!

With busy fall schedules back on the calendar and families multi-tasking work, school, and extra curricular activities, getting a healthy, warm meal to the table in time for dinner can be somewhat of a challenge. Introducing, ate, a gourmet, dinner delivery service that brings healthy pre-made, heat-and-eat meals to your home weekly. Ate, owned and operated by Jessica and Rodolfo Buonocore, have combined their passion and talent for food with the realization of the importance of families eating warm healthy meals together. The pre-set menus offer a variety of meals, salads and desserts for at least four meals a week. The ample portions serve two to four people, are usually kid friendly, and taste like five-star dining. Usually, each delivery will include a meat entree, vegetarian dish, and a chicken or fish entrée. Each meal comes with a fresh salad, hearty entrée and delectable dessert. Clients can sign-up for a 4-week cycle, or individual menus, and expect to pay around $60 a week for the meals. The entrees can be heated-up immediately, frozen, or refrigerated for a few days. Click here for the next delivery cycle menu. Now you can take down that take-out list on your fridge and order ate to eat! 512.300.4252 To place an order, e-mail: jessica@atefoods.com

Thank you, Nannies! Thanks to all of you who nominated your nanny. Congratulations to Vickey Reeder for winning a pampering pedicure courtesy of BabySccopAustin.com and Nannies from the Heart! Here is her nomination letter sent by the mom she works for:
"My nomination goes out to Vickey Reeder who is an incredible nanny for my 5 kids. Vickey is one of the most caring, good hearted and fun loving people I know. If she walks into a room with kids they gravitate towards her. She is like a magnet with all children! She has worked with many kids and knows how to relate to any child whether they are typical children or special needs. She teaches them sign language, life skills and how to become independent little people. Everyone needs a VICKEY!!!" -Chele

BSA’s something-to-do idea of the week:
Take your pre-schooler to a local library branch and get them (you) a library card. Have them pick out a couple of books to take home to read for bedtime. Then, teach them the lesson of taking back the book for other kids to enjoy. There are so many lessons to learn by going to the library: Being quiet (this can be a challenge), putting books back on the shelf, letting them give their card to the librarian when checking out a book, enjoying a story time quietly with other children, being still, and being respectful of public spaces.
