Most moms have a long “to-do” list during the day, but buying groceries is always right up there with cleaning the toilet on my list.
My dreams came true when I placed my first order with
Greenling Organic Delivery
Since placing my first order a few months ago, I’ve tried out different fruits, veggies, and other local products. Even my picky three year-old has tried the cheese spreads and pecans.
Placing your first order takes anywhere from five minutes to an hour. Signing up for the “local box” or “Farmstead box” is a great way to try out the service. Delivery is free with a minimum order of $25, but driver tips are welcome and can be added to the order.
Most moms will still need to make a visit to the grocery store for certain items, but ordering from Greenling definitely has cut down on my grocery time, and bills. When I used to shop once or twice a week at the grocery store, I often came away with snacks for myself, the kids, and “okay, okay, you can have it” items to make it out of the store.
Greenling started several years ago delivering produce from local vendors. Now they stock everything from fresh ground local coffee to baby food. You can place an order of fresh veggies and fruits, as well as some prepared meals and dishes from Dishalicious and McGovern’s Organics (who specializes in gluten-free foods).
Shopping for groceries may never be something on my “wish” list, but shopping from home definitely makes it easier.

With summer in full swing and trips to the pool almost daily, sunscreen is a must! We just stocked up on our new summer fave, Blue Lizard. Found at most drugstores, it is reasonable priced, available for “sensitive skin” and contains the must-have ingredient, Zinc Oxide. The product was reccomended to us by local skincare specialist,
Tracy Bethel, and we've spotted it on other skin care blogs. To read a great review of this product, go to

DOT-COM OF THE WEEK
BSA’s dot-com of the week: www.babybeecool.com
The Baby Bee Cool car seat cooler pad is a great way to keep baby’s car seat cooled down while your car is parked in the summer heat! It is made of an insulated fabric and sold with reusable ice blocks that are placed within lined pockets of the padding. Just place over the car seat while you and baby are in the store and it will keep the seat from heating up. Its universal design fits all baby car seats and it can stay cool for up to 10 hours. The cover also functions as a small cooler for bottles or snacks. (They also have an adult version!)
