We love you, Mom!

15th Annual Celebration of Families
Saturday, May 3rd, 10:00am-4:00pm
Celebrate being a mom by going to the 15th Annual Celebration of Families 2008 presented by Family Connections. The event is a a festival for parents and children with over 100 exihibitors and many child freindly activities. This year's theme, Healthy Families/Healthy Planet encourages parents to teach their children how to protect the earth. The mission of the Celebration of Families is to strengthen families by bringing together resources for parents, while making a statement about the importance of family needs in our community. Free child care is available while parents visit the exibits and parenting seminars. The family festival includes a family entertainment stage, Creation Station, petting zoo, rock wall, moonwalks and toddler zone. Children's entertainers include: Staci gray, Biscuit Brothers, Laura Freeman and more! Mayor Will Wynn will present his slideshow on the environment at 1:30pm. The event will be at the Palmer Events Center located at 900 Barton Springs Road. There is free admission, free parking, and free child care provided for ages 6 mo.-10 years.
