YMCA Healthy Kids Day (Greater Williamson County)
Saturday April 12th 10:00am-2:00 PM
Each of the three branches of the YMCA of Greater Williamson County (Round Rock, Twin Lakes/Cedar Park & Taylor) will join more than 1,700 YMCAs nationwide in the 17th annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day. The entire event is FREE and open to the public.
Activities taking place during YMCA Healthy Kids Day will include inflatables, carnival games, youth health screenings, safety demonstrations and more. Registration for summer programs such as sports, camp and aquatics will also take place at the event.


Art City Austin '08
Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th
"A" is for Art Alliance Austin Each April, hundreds of independent and emerging artists descend on the hub of innovation, expression, and individuality that is Austin, Texas. The outdoor fair is set against streets, plazas, and green spaces on the edge of the hip downtown shopping and arts district. The fair not only features a utopia of art, but delicious food, live music, and a Kid's Block. The kids' stage includes a yoga class demo, storytime with Laura Freeman, a rock wall, face painting, live music, clay molding and lots of other engaging activites. Scottish Rite Theatre Presents Snow White
Starting April 30th
Based on the classic tale of Snow White, her nice woodland friends and a not-so-nice Queen. The original, interactive production encourages children to help the story unfold. Most of the shows are Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 per child. For showtimes, go to Snow White.
