Two Peas in a Pod

When this new, yummy on-line baby boutique, www.twobluepeas.com, popped up in our “Mommy Knows Best Poll” for favorite boutiques, we just had to see what all the fuss what about. What we discovered was more than ordinary. Helen and Sarah, two peas in a pod- homegrown in Austin, combined their love for fashion, passion for life, and of course, obsession with babies to create a hip and funky on-line baby store with a warm and fuzzy hometown feel. Shop this unique boutique to find the latest and greatest in infant wear, bibs, burps, and blankies for your little pea-nut. Everyone will drool over your little one at the next play-date. Shop from their “Top 5 Baby Shower Gifts” guide when you want your next baby gift to be memorable. To wrap it up, this one-stop, on-line shop offers custom monogramming, posh gift wrapping, and if you just can’t decide…e-gift cards for your friend who just loves two blue peas.

AND… if you “want more peas, please”, they also have an entertaining, behind-the-scenes blog that makes you feel like Helen and Sarah are your new best friends. http://www.twobluepeas.com/blog/.

So peas don’t taste so great… but two blue peas have great taste!

Are you cringing at the thought of your kids eating all the Halloween candy? Here is a solution, submitted by one of our Baby Scoop Mamas, for getting rid of the piles of Halloween candy:
Each year, after the kids go trick-or-treating, The Great Pumpkin pays a visit. He sees so many children on one night that he is starving! If the children leave their candy out for him to eat, they will get a present in return. "It is that simple. I didn't want to share this until I had tried it out on our kids. I was not sure they would go for it, but they loved it and happily gave all of their candy away to receive their gift." -Jennie
