On a Personal Note

The Baby Scoop Austin Crew is back! We wanted to start our first newsletter of the year with a personal note to our Baby Scoop Austin families. We would like to thank you for all of your support and feedback in 2007. We are so thankful to our community for warmly welcoming Baby Scoop’s arrival last year. Your suggestions, input, and opinions contributed greatly to last year’s success! Also, thank you for spreading the word to friends and neighbors. We appreciate all of the local businesses who came on board and continue to support us into 2008. We are so excited about the New Year…“It’s lookin’ great for 2008!”

As we get into the groove of the New Year, we are gearing up to bring you more great newsletters. Please continue to send us your ideas, events and suggestions. Behind the scenes, we are diligently researching, creating, and writing, all while stimulating our “creative” skills by making dinosaurs with play-dough, changing baby dolls’ diapers, and building our Little People cities. The Baby Scoop Crew is ready to hit the parks running with our backpacks packed with snacks, a notepad and crayons! We will continue to evolve as Austin’s leading resource for the Scoop on all things pregnancy, baby and toddler!

Here are a few things you can expect from us in 2008: A Baby Scoop Blog, Baby Scoop gear, giveaways, more info for moms (personal care, tips, and ideas), more events on the calendar, socials around town, and of course…more Scoop!

We are so excited about the New Year, a fresh start, and an uncluttered calendar (actually, like us, you probably already have the new preschool schedule, a few birthday parties, and several play-dates penciled in). Baby Scoop is looking forward to sharing more things Mom to Mom in 2008! In continuation of our “getting personal" message, we want to remind you to invest time in yourself. Make a commitment to do one special thing for yourself a month. This can be something you truly love, want or need, something that really makes you happy, joyful, and content. After all, you deserve it!

Renew Yourself: 2008! One way to take time for yourself is to join a Personal Renewal Group, a monthly women’s circle based on the nationally-acclaimed The Mother's Guide to Self-Renewal , and create a more balanced life. For more details on what A PRG is visit: http://www.reneetrudeau.com
