The duo behind BSA is local mom, Alissa O’Bannon and her creative tot, Olivia. Prior to settling into motherhood, Alissa lived in Dallas where she was part of the generation, "Internet startup."
She created and produced a 24-hour, lifestyle show that was live streaming on the Internet. After her "dot com" days, Alissa went back to her crafty and creative roots and began a handmade greeting card line.
She then got engaged and traded her stelletos for flip flops and settled in Austin. In 2003, Alissa married her husband, Jeremy, whom she met years earlier in college. Once Alissa became a mom, she took a hiatus from self-employment and took on her new role as a stay-at-home mom like
she would any new career and put her heart and soul into it. Now, Alissa enjoys designing, writing and developing Baby Scoop Austin while Olivia enjoys helping her mom "research" for the site.

Olivia’s dynamic personality and curious nature were the inspiration behind Baby Scoop Austin. This precocious two-year-old loves exploration, adventure and keeping Mommy on her toes. This social butterfly likes to be in the heart of the action. That might be why she started walking at 12 months, and doesn’t like sleeping past 6:00 a.m.
Olivia, a.k.a. Adventurer Extraordinaire, loves digging for earthworms, climbing on playscapes, watching Little Bear, eating Amy’s Vanilla Ice Cream with M&M’s on top.
Wearing her favorite purple tutu and carrying her puppy purse, Olivia can be found around town testing local slides, swings, children’s menus and chic children’s boutiques. When she’s not exploring the town or attending an outdoor concert, she likes to hang out with her playgroup or do puzzles with Mommy and Daddy.
